Pallet air freight requirements

Before booking pallet air freight with Parcelhero, please ensure your shipment meets the following requirements. Shipments that do not meet these requirements may be delayed, rejected or incur additional charges.

Minimum weight

Pallet air freight is available for shipments of 150kg or more. For shipments under 150kg, please use our standard courier services.

Maximum pallet height

The maximum pallet height for air freight is 155 to 160cm. This restriction exists because pallets travelling by air are loaded into Unit Load Devices (ULDs) on passenger aircraft. ULDs have fixed internal dimensions, and pallets exceeding 155 to 160cm in height cannot be accommodated on standard passenger aircraft.

If your pallet exceeds this height, it will need to travel on a freighter or cargo-only aircraft (CAO), which is a different service. Please contact our customer care team if this applies to your shipment.

Pallet dimensions

Standard pallet dimensions for air freight are:

Maximum length: 1.2m

Maximum width: 1m

Pallets exceeding these dimensions will be treated as oversized and may require a bespoke quote. Please contact us before booking if your pallet is larger than these dimensions.
